Pre-race Storylines[edit | edit source]
This is the last of three races that fan-designed liveries will appear in the 2012 season. Chris Johaanes' "Silver Sapphire" car will run at Decatur, being the only fan-designed car to do so.
Both Gaspar de Sousa and Danny Savin have a chance to claim the Independent's Trophy for themselves. Savin needs to finish only about 20th or better, but de Sousa needs to finish on the podium to lock up the title.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Divina Henton was only the third driver ever to pull off the Perfect 70, having a dominant performance.
