Pre-race storylines[edit | edit source]
The MCMA has made some good news for once. It appears that there could be an exhibition race on the Streets of New York later in the season to support the V8 Champ Car series race, which could be held on a Saturday. The reason of this is because the other supporting series decided not to participate with concerns about the course itself. No word on who could be invited to the race. It is believed that the Mitchell & Sons and Majestic Motorsports are the two main sources for the race. If this plan is to make its way on the schedule, then those two teams could be back on the grid for 2013.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Leonid Roderick took his 1st pole award of the season driving for FLASH Racing, with Divina Henton on the outside driving for Volpi.
