Races | Round of Australia |
The Birch Park International Raceway is a road course located in Sydney, Australia.
Best known for being a stable on the V8 Touring Car calendar for years, it held one TM Master Cup race, the 2009 Round of Australia. The race was won by Scott Steudler. In the race, many Australian racing drivers competed such as Jason Campbell, Adam Purcell, Thomas Duke, and Mark Sears. Although well liked by V8 drivers, the track was not well suited for the Cup cars and the series hasn't been back.
Improvements[edit | edit source]
There is talk of extending the runoff area, but this has yet to go out of the planning stage.
