The Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours (commonly referred to just Magny-Cours) is a 2.741-mile (4.412-km), 17-turn road course located in central France near the towns of Nevers and Magny-Cours.
History[edit | edit source]
When the circuit was built in the late 1960s, it encompassed the modern front stretch and back of the the infield. Later the Estoril and Adelaide corners were added, giving the track its unique shape. In 1991, the circuit went under a major renovation to bring International Motorsport there. Many of the corners were reprofiled and a new paddock was added. It is used mostly by sports cars and open wheel cars.
It also held the Formula A French Grand Prix until 2008.
Dash Cup raced here in 2013 for the 2013 French GP.
