Gaspar de Sousa (born February 17th, 1988 in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Açores, Portugal) is a Portuguese race car driver. He is currently competing for the Independent's Trophy in the #0 unsponsored entry in the 2012 TM Master Cup season for Alex Harrison Racing which has ran a variety of other drivers in the Master Cup in the past such as Julian Alexander, and Shane Lake.
de Sousa clinched the Independent's Trophy at the 2012 Round of British Columbia, when he finished third, winning the trophy by just 4 points over Danny Savin. His stellar performance in that race was largely due to qualifying fourth and managing to fend off stiff competition to take his third career podium.
His Independent's Trophy performance earned the attention of BlackDiamond Racing, who were quick to sign him to drive for them in the following season. He will run the #00 Tremwell, in the distinctive teal, black, and white colors of Kleffer Media. De Sousa's teammate will be four-time world champion Peter Short.
