The Global Racing League, or GRL, was a racing league that ran until 2009 when labor issues with the series’ officials cut the season short after only three races. It is unknown if the series will be brought back. The GRL was known largely for being a spec series, with only the cars' color schemes and numbers differing between them. In fact, for most of its history the series had no manufacturer backing, racing an original chassis for a number of years before Corsa provided 313Ts for what was destined to be the final season in 2009.
