The Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg is a 2.842-mile (4.574 km) motorsport race track situated near the town of Hockenheim in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, located on Bertha Benz Memorial Route. It was built in 1932 as a test track and has hosted numerous prominent championships, including the Formula A German Grand Prix.
The track has two different configurations: the Formula A circuit and a longer, 4.24-mile (6.823 km) circuit that is used by TM Europe for its Round of Germany.

The track layout shown in the infobox above is the current layout, which was the result of a 2002 redesign. The turn named Gessler, turn eight, was renamed from its real-world designation of Mercedes. because Gessler is the TM universe's version of Mercedes-Benz.
The prior layout, shown at right, is the version of Hockenheim that is available to drive in NR2003.
