Jim Hayes (Born March 5, 1977 in Hampton, Virginia) is an American race car driver. He competed in the 2011 TM Lights season for Team Thunder, driving the #07 PCC Tonare. He is known to be an excellent short track driver, as evidenced by his performance in the 2010 Rockford 200.
He currently competes in TM Lights for Team Thunder, and won his first race at Piqua. He was confirmed as Power Steering Incorporated's 3rd driver for the 2012 Karjala Grand Prix based on his connections with Tonare, bringing his TM Lights sponsors along. Hayes was also tabbed to drive the #26 Nemoto for MRD Motorsports for the 2012 Mini Indy 500. Hayes finished 5th in his qualifying race, putting him in the field for the main event.
