Lone Star Supercell is a high-banked, high speed 1.3 mile egg-shaped oval located in Houston, Texas. It hosted the TM Master Cup Round of Texas from 2010 to 2011, and a TM Lights South race in 2011. It most recently hosted the semifinal event of the 2012 ASCC Wrangler Cup Series season.
TM Master Cup history[edit | edit source]
The 2011 race was marred by a horrendous shunt suffered by Mathias Taube, Zelda Ashby, Bobby Porteau, and Louis Kingston. The massive crash also collected Scott Steudler, Jacques Bouvier, and Robert Dorian.
