MT Motorsports (also known as Middle Tennessee Motorsports) is an American race team that fields entries in TM Master Cup, TM Lights, the ARLA Elite Series and the Continental Racing League Modified and Developmental Divisions. The team is owned by Murfreesboro, Tennessee, native Fred Caldwell, whose brother, Marc, assumes ownership duties at races Fred is unable to attend due to conflicts.
The team made headlines during the qualifying process for the 2012 Mini Indy 500, as both Lane Cranston and Jon Halks made the show, despite both cars being terribly underfunded.
MT Motorsports has won multiple races in the CRL Modified Division, with triumphs from Halks, Kraig Mummert, and Kenneth Collier. Brian Morris won two races for the team during the 2012 TM Lights season. Cranston scored two podium finishes for MT Motorsports during the 2012 ARLA Elite Series season.
