The National Pro Cup Championship (NPCC) was the fusion of two separate late model series from opposite sides of the country: the West Coast Late Model Series and the Ohio Valley Late Model Series.
In 2013, the two organizations agreed to a merger that would turn merge both series together to form a national late model championship series. The series made its first ever stop at the Long Beach street circuit and its first ever stop in Canada in 2014.
The two sanctioning bodies would split apart after the 2014 season, ending the NPCC.
