The New Hampshire Motor Speedway (formerly New Hampshire International Speedway) is a 1.058-mile oval speedway located in Loudon, New Hampshire. In addition to its oval configuration, the facility also includes a 1.6-mile road course, which uses a large portion of the oval in its distance. It opened in 1994 on the site of the Bryar Speedway. The outer loop of the road course follows the path of the Bryar configuration.
Previous Events[edit | edit source]
The Formula Overdrive Series made its visit to this track in 2008, with female Frenchman Aneta Belmont winning the event. The track hosted the 2010 Atlant-X @ Loudon ARLA Elite Series race, which was highlighted by a crash-filled first lap in which pole sitter Allie Riggs crashed out before completing one lap. Harry S. Enola would win the race after Nami Mura, who dominated most of the race (at one point holding a 24-second lead), lost an engine with less than 15 laps to go.
2011[edit | edit source]
New Hampshire hosted the fifth round of the TM Lights Series East season and a race in V8 Champ Car. Both series used the oval configuration.
