Dash Cup Driver |
—Reuben Vogt, mouth full, referring to his sponsor Tiny's Pizzeria |
Reuben Vogt (born August 6, 1978 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American race car driver best known for competing in the Dash Cup Pirelli Stock Series.
Vogt drove for Tiny's Autosport, a team fielded by Tiny's Pizzeria. Vogt has established a very good relationship with Tiny's; Tiny's often notes in various press releases that Vogt is one of the chain's best customers. Vogt regularly competes in eating contests at Tiny's when he is not busy with his racing travels. Perhaps consequently, Vogt is very fat, and resides in Barnsley, England because of the nation's socialized healthcare system.
Vogt joined the Dash Cup series as a rookie in 2012, and went on to win the championship as a rookie after winning two races in Lausitz and Calder Park. He won it by 4 points over Radomir Stanoytchev, becoming the series' first champion born outside of Europe and the first from the United States. Vogt would go on to win two more races in 2014 and a fifth in 2016, before he and Tiny's left the series at the end of 2016.
