TM Master Cup Series Driver |
Robert Dorian is an English racecar driver. He won the Dash Cup drivers' championship in 2013.
TM Lights[edit | edit source]
Dorian debuted in the TM Lights in 2007. By 2009, he was very competitive, finishing second in the championship race to Jacques Bouvier. In 2010, he returned to the #01 Backyard Grill Omecha and ran well early on. During that season Dorian was hurt by controversy. He developed an intense rivalry with RJ Bandsma, and tensions ran so high that the two drivers got into a fist fight. Dorian has been very outspoken about other drivers, claiming in 2010 that as much as one third of the field was not qualified to drive in the TM Lights. He was a championship contender, but ultimately fell short to Mike Whitmore.
TM Master Cup Series[edit | edit source]
Dorian moved to the TM Master Cup Series in 2011 with Xenos. He ran strongly early in the season, but had a difficult mid season, failing to qualify for Karjala. Dorian was generally outpaced by his teammate Scott Hamilton, and was not retained by Xenos Racing for 2012.
