This team currently fields drivers in the TM Lights Series, the Dash Cup series, and in 2012 the ARLA Elite Series. In 2012 the team was be renamed to S-Tech Autosport due to unclosed reasons.
World Touring Championship[edit | edit source]
SpeedSOS had been running the World Touring Championship since 1997, when Aoi's father Shiro Tanazaka started up the team with Geoff Forsythe running the car for what was then known as S-Tech Racing. In 2000 Aoi took a part time role in the team driving 3 of the races that year. In 2002 Geoff Forsythe gave the team their first championship after a hard battle in heading into the final race in Australia.
ARLA Elite Series[edit | edit source]
While the team is making its first full time effort in 2012, the team isn't a stranger to ARLA competition, as they qualified Michael Madrigal and Jessica Graham into Daytona in 2010, it would be the only race start for the team in that year, as they didn't qualify for both Dwyer and Rockford that year.
TM Lights Series[edit | edit source]
The team made their venture into the TM Lights Series in 2010 when it was the TM Junior Series, fielding Azuma Kazeyama and Quan Xing, throughout the season Kazeyama would get outperformed usually by Xing in most of the races.
TM Master Cup Series[edit | edit source]
SpeedSOS has attempted to make races since the 2009 season with Azuma Kazeyama at Decatur but failing to make it out of the Pre-qualifiers. They would regularly attempt Karjala but would never make it out of the qualifiers, and embarassingly fail to field cars for Adel Meir at Decatur. They would amazingly make the 2011 Round of Indianapolis with Michael Madrigal, Easily making his way through the qualifiers, in fact they were almost fast enough to make it on speed alone. However they would wind up 22nd at the end of the race.
