Champ Car is the highest class of American Open Wheel Racing. Its premier race is the Indianapolis 500.
Non-Canon Notes[edit | edit source]
Champ Car is the TM Universe equivalent of the IndyCar Series/CART.
It remains a mention-only series for two reasons; one being how well NR2003 supports (or rather, doesn't support) decent enough open wheel physics to Cynon's liking, and the other being that rFactor AI are too damn wonky and the replays unnecessarily annoying to navigate through.
Races[edit | edit source]
Racetracks known to host V8 Champ Car events include Auto Club Speedway, Long Beach, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Streets of New York, Edmonton City Centre Airport, The Raceway on Belle Isle, The Milwaukee Mile, Surfers Paradise, and a track in South Korea.
