FLASH Racing is a now-defunct TM Master Cup Series team; they were a flagship Inglesby team and became the official factory team in their final years. They hold a Master Cup record with eight owner's championships, four of them won by Leonid Roderick.
The name of the team is an acronym for the location of the team during it's early days; Frank Lawrence and Adam Samson's House. Lawrence and Samson both lived within a mile of the team's original race shop, which was a barn on Lawrence's property. The team later relocated to the Indianapolis area, but the name stuck even after Inglesby bought a 20% stake.
In 2012, there was a rumor that Inglesby was going to purchase a greater share of the team and rename the team, but after the Master Cup Manufacturers' Association debacle at the 2012 Round of Michigan, the team's slot in the series was in jeopardy. The majority shareholding was eventually purchased by the team's primary sponsors LAUNCH Energy drinks, who went on to rebrand the team as American Launch Energy Racing Team (ALERT) to secure the team's place for the 2013 season; including the use of Inglesby machinery for another two seasons.
Lawrence and Samson continued to operate the team through the end of the 2013, after which Samson departed to become the principal of Lenard International, ending the decades long partnership. Following the departure of Launch, Lawrence regained control of the former FLASH team, known today as Frank Lawrence Racing.
