TM Canon Driver

Luke Ocean (born January 7, 1987) is a TM Lights series driver, for the EV Racing. Ocean is the older sister of Lora Ocean, who he drove for in the FARC Elite Series, in 2013 and part-time in 2014 under owner Alice Hawk along side with his sister. He started off as a quiet competitor and seems to keep up with that steady flow even up till today.

Early life[edit | edit source]

Luke Ocean, being the older of the Ocean siblings was much more quiet and reserved then his sister. Ocean, was born and raised in Louisiana. Luke Ocean was more focused on his studies in school in his early life until he met his girlfriend Kathy Parker. Once Parker entered his life, he became much more adventurous and outgoing, doing such activities like snowboarding, skydiving, and many others.

Career beginnings[edit | edit source]

Luke, along with his sister Lora, really didn't start in racing till 2013, when Lora enter both herself and him to the 2013 Stars & Stripes 776. Luke was a surprise as he made the field and ran considerably well, until his engine blew up. Throughout the rest of the 2013 season, Luke attempted all special events in the TM Master Cup Series as well as FARC but with no success. Luke however was granted permission to start in the 2013 Round of British Columbia, where he started 38th but finished 28th. However, 28th rewarded no points, so he has nothing to show for in his only TM Master Cup to date.

2014[edit | edit source]

Lora was forced to sell her team to her friend due to overall poor results. Alice Hawk, renamed the team from Forever Green Motorsports to Flying High Motorsports, but kept both of the Ocean siblings as drivers. However, Luke was looking for more and managed to get a full-time ride with EV Racing. So Luke remained as a part-time driver in the FARC Elite Series but will have a full-time ride as well. His TM Lights career has seen pretty high success for a start, with a solid 6th place in his debut but then getting a podium finishing 2nd the following race. In his third start at Road Atlanta, he finished only 18th but that position pays points, so he has finish in the points for his first three races in the lights. His FARC career hasn't been as stellar, with a few top 10s but over multiple sprints and failures to make the feature. It was announced by Alice Hawk both Ocean siblings will be released at seasons end.

His fourth start in the TM Lights found Ocean getting into an accident early, but still managing to finish 17th, and moving him up to 4th in points.

Personal life[edit | edit source]

Luke has remained together with his high school girlfriend Kathy Parker ever since. On December 31st, Luke purposed and she said "Yes! I've been waiting years for this moment!". Parker and Lora Ocean seem to have a love-hate relationship, much to Lora's annoyance. Ocean hasn't joined any social sites and when asked why "If someone is of importance to talk too, I will have their phone number. It can be dealt with privately, no need for the world to know about an issue that doesn't concern them".
