Middle Georgia Motor Speedway is a 0.548-mile short track oval located in Byron, Georgia, just outside the city of Macon. The track first opened in 1966, but was subject to a federal investigation after only one year in operation. An elaborate moonshine distillery was discovered in a secret underground bunker on the property at turn three. Despite the track's then-owner being arrested, racing at the track continued.
After a change in ownership, the track was renovated in 2011.
The TM Master Cup ran here in the past, most recently in the mid-80s; however, Middle Georgia currently hosts events for the ASCC and RROL NOMAD division.
