Down Under Motorsports is owned by John Wargle, and was the team that earned Troy Adams his 2012 TM Lights Championship. The team was formed by Wargle in 2000, & was used for young rising stars to show their potential in the Australian Formula Ford Championship. When Troy Adams' nephew, Josh Marshall, signed with the team, Troy Adams started talking to Wargle about bringing the team to the stock car fray &, in 2011, began their first full season of stock cars in the TM Lights. After a successful 2012 campaign, the team hired Jim Jones to replace Troy Adams, after Adams moved up to the TM Master Cup Series for 2013. In 2014, the team expanded to 2 cars when Josh Marshall become old enough to race in the series. Troy Adams returned to replace Jones after his stint in the Master Cup.
