TM Master Cup Series Driver |
Cyrus LaTerza is an American racecar driver. He last raced in the TM Lights with his longtime employer Mitchell & Sons Racing. He is perhaps best known for his victory in the 2007 Round of Daytona, the finish to which still occasionally appears on TM Master Cup series billboards. His Daytona triumph is his only TM Master Cup series victory to date. He is now a reserve driver for the DeGarmo Enterprises team for the 2012 TM Master Cup season, and will run the 2012 Round of New York as well as the 2012 Round of Decatur for the team, in their third car. LaTerza is largely perceived as to having been rushed up to the TM Master Cup series, having unsuccessfully bid for Rookie of the Year in 2006 at the age of 19.
LaTerza will be in the ARLA Elite Series in 2013, where he will contest the Tornado Alley Trophy with a second Mitchell & Sons car, carrying #75. He will also likely participate in the TM Master Cup series as the third driver for the team.
