Career[edit | edit source]
2008: Debut[edit | edit source]
Evans didn't impress many during his rookie season in 2008, as he wrecked a number of drivers throughout the season, including Tony Durbin, Anthony Evans, Brian Sendack, and James Dalton. He did manage to earn a top-five finish and a pair of top-10 runs, but also scored five DNF's and placed 33rd in the final points standings.
2009: Struggles continue[edit | edit source]
Evans' 2009 season was not much better. He failed to qualify for several races as his pace sunk dramatically, and whenever he did qualify for a race, he didn't exactly perform as well as he would've liked to. He failed to record a top-10 finish throughout the season and finished in a lowly 48th place in the final points standings.
2010: Independent's Trophy effort[edit | edit source]
After his dismal 2009 campaign, Collin Evans decided to compete for the Independent's Trophy in 2010 with his own team. Of the four events he attempted that season, he failed to qualify for one of them, effectively putting himself out of contention for the title and in the races he did qualify for, he didn't perform particularly well.
2011: A break in the action[edit | edit source]
Evans, feeling he could no longer be competitive in the Master Cup series neither as a full-time regular nor as an Independent's Trophy candidate, elected to take the season off.
2012: Return to racing[edit | edit source]
After taking a year-long break from racing,Evans will return to the cockpit as he will be racing in the 2012 RROL Elite Series season in the No.51 Mont Blank Lenard R37 for Evans Motorsports.
