Pre-race storylines[edit | edit source]
Dash Cup officials announced that due to the limited number of pit stalls at Circuit de Monaco, combined with the largest field size ever to compete in this event (31 cars), the race here would be contested as a doubleheader event. The top 15 drivers in points would be placed in the first race, with the rest of the drivers being placed into the second race. (Note this format is different than the twin-race format held by the ARLA Elite Series.)
Officials allowed for a "winner's provisional" in which any race winner placed into the second race could opt to move up to Race 1. Of the two drivers eligible, Brno winner Justin Keith, exercised the option and took the final spot on the Race 1 entry list, bumping Carla Rosinki to Race 2.
The grid will break down thusly:
Race 1 | Race 2 | ||||

Radomir Stanoytchev | 42 | 1st | Verity Logan | 77 | 20th |

Carla Rosinki | 28 | 17th | Oak Treediee | 66 | debut |
Justin Keith | 11 | 19th | Luke Ackermann | 51 | debut |
† Patrick Eichholtz could have been moved to race one due to "winner's provisional" but chose to stay in race 2. With Luke Ackermann racing, this means that Justin Keith was automatically moved to race 1, meaning Rosinki's place in race 1 is now certain.

Driver updates[edit | edit source]
Team Kwik Fit parted ways with Steve Aboagye after his 17th-place finish at Brno, hiring Vailler Jankovic away from Arrow Dynamics. The No. 14 team is not on the entry list for this event, and it is unknown if the team will finish out the year.
Irish Pride Racing became the latest Dash Cup team to be purchased by a higher-level organization, as TM Lights team Great Lakes Motorsports purchased the Ireland-based operation for an undisclosed sum. As a result of the buyout, the team parted ways with Patrick McArthur. GLM also rebranded the team Euro-1 (E1), and announced the team would serve as GLM's European branch.
